First day of workshop was started with inauguration function at 10.00 am via zoom meeting. In this
function Dr. S. S. Pancholi, principal of the college welcomed and introduced chief guest of the
function Dr. M. R. Yadav, Director (R&D), Parul University. Dr. Dipti B. Patel, Coordinator of the
workshop gave brief overview of the workshop. Dr. M. R. Yadav gave key note address to the
gathering about current need of industries from their employees and talk about importance and
advancements in the field of analytical spectroscopy and its application for structure identification.
Dr. Mahendra Sharma, Pro chancellor of Ganpat University had also addressed the gathering. The
function was concluded by vote of thanks given by Dr. Sejal K. Patel, Co-coordinator of the
First scientific session was started by Dr. M. R. Yadav, Director (R & D), Parul University, Baroda
on "Mass Spectroscopy in Structure Elucidation" from 11.00 am to 1.15 in afternoon. After 45 min
lunch break second session was delivered by Mr. Abhay Chirode, assistant professor at Bharati
Vidyapeeth college of pharmacy, Navi Mumbai on the topic of “IR Spectroscopy: Fundamentals
and Diagnosis of IR Spectrum for Structural Data Interpretation”. The session was from 2.00 pm to
4.00 pm.
On second day of the seminar, third scientific session was started from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm and
taken by Dr. Satish Y. Gabhe, Professor at Poona College of Pharmacy, Bharati Vidyapeeth
University, Pune. The topic of talk was “NMR Spectroscopy in Structure Elucidation”. After lunch
break fourth session was on “Topic: Approach - For Identification of Organic Compounds from
Spectroscopic Data” was presented by Dr. Ajay Patel, assistant professor at B. K. Mody
Government Pharmacy College, Rajkot, from 2.00 pm to 3.45 pm.
