Description
REPORT of International Conference on
Pharmacy, Food, Agriculture, Science and Technology on
“Innovations for Growth and Sustainability”
(22nd & 23rd December 2023)
CARS, GUNI & SSIP GUNI sponsored 2 days international conference on “Innovations for Growth and Sustainability” was organized on 22nd & 23rd December 2023 at Seminar Hall, Shree S.K. Patel College of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Ganpat University, Mehsana, Gujarat, India.
In this conference, 70 participants were participated and 27 participants presented a poster and 18 Oral on topics related to pharmaceutical & basic sciences.
The conference was started with inaugural function on 22nd December 26, 2023. Dr. Ganpat I. Patel, Patron-in-Chief & President of Ganpat University motivated the participants and gave importance of pharmaceuticals, food, agriculture, science and technology for sustenance of life on the planet with special relevance to human health. Mr. Sudhir Maram, Associate Vice President, Facon AgriFriz Food Pvt Ltd, Bhubneshwar has given the importance of research and current scenario in the field of pharmaceuticals, food, agriculture, science and technology. Dr S. S. Pancholi Executive Dean, FOP & FOS and Principal, SKPCPER, Ganpat University welcome the participants and has encouraged and explained the importance of the conference in their professional and education development. Dr. Paresh U. Patel, Dean, FOP, Ganpat University delivered a vote of thanks.

He gave detailed presentation on developing countries, the application of freezing preservation is favorable with several main considerations. From a technical point of view, the freezing process is one of the most convenient and easiest of food preservation methods, compared with other commercial preservation techniques. The availability of different types of equipment for several different food products results in a flexible process in which degradation of initial food quality is minimal with proper application procedures.
The first plenary session was delivered by Dr. Sivakumar S. Moni from Faculty of Pharmacy Jazan University on “Multidimensional Nanoparticles: Pioneering Advances in Cancer Therapy, Immune Regulation, and Antibacterial Strategies”. During his session, Dr. Sivakumar gave overview of application of nanoparticles in the field of Cancer Therapy, Immune Regulation, and Antibacterial Strategies. He explained these applications by presenting some case studies published as research articles in well reputed international journals.
The second planary session was delivered by Dr. Andrea Fin, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, University of Turin, Italy on “Emissive Tools for Application in Chemical Biology”. Dr. Fin explained exploring the intersection of chemistry and biology, this abstract delves into the realm of emissive tools designed for application in chemical biology. These cutting-edge instruments leverage luminescence to illuminate intricate cellular processes and molecular interactions. With a focus on precision and sensitivity, these tools offer researchers a sophisticated means to visualize and study biological phenomena at the molecular level. These abstract highlights the potential impact of such emissive technologies in advancing our understanding of complex biological systems, paving the way for innovative research and potential applications in areas ranging from drug discovery to diagnostics.
In the afternoon, participants of the conference presented their research and review work in the areas of pharmaceuticals, food, agriculture, science and technology. The external jury members evaluated these presentations and selected best two research and review presentations.
